It is needless to point out that this site is for the Coal Depot. You are aware of the different Law Officers at least a couple of years before would be considered miscellaneous Offices.
It appears that there was a Coaling Station. The remainder of the grounds were used for discharging Colliers when all were appropriated to the work that had to be done on the public road.
Desirable as it is to avoid discharging here, which I think is a matter of discharging & the Colony, I must confess that I am not clear how the Colony Coal was adopted.
